Who we are

The Lefkowitz Group is a U.S.-based asset and revenue recovery firm that helps importers identify and recover overpaid IEEPA tariff duties. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through lefkowitzgroup.com and related intake communications.

Information we collect

When you complete the eligibility form on this site, we collect:

  • Contact information: full name, work email address, phone number
  • Company information: company name, industry, and your role
  • Import profile: approximate annual import volumes by country of origin (provided as ranges, not exact figures)
  • LinkedIn profile URL (optional)
  • Technical data: the page URL and timestamp at submission, and any UTM parameters present in your URL (e.g., utm_source, utm_campaign)

We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or sensitive personal data through this site.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to:

  • Evaluate whether your import profile meets the threshold for an IEEPA refund recovery engagement
  • Contact you to discuss eligibility, schedule a call, or provide a written eligibility memo
  • Route your inquiry to the licensed customs brokers and trade-counsel partners who would handle your engagement

We do not use your information for advertising profiling, third-party marketing, or automated decision-making that produces legal effects without human review.

Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service partners: Licensed customs brokers and trade-counsel partners engaged to evaluate or work on your potential refund claim. These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your information for any other purpose.
  • Service providers: We use Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail) to receive and store form submissions. Google's privacy practices govern their handling of this data.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request, we may disclose information as necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics. The site uses no persistent cookies. If analytics or advertising tracking is added in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect that and, where required by law, your consent will be obtained.

Data retention

We retain your submitted information for as long as needed to evaluate your eligibility and, if you proceed with an engagement, for the duration of that engagement plus any applicable legal retention period. If you do not proceed and ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to request that we restrict or stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the information below. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit. Form data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled Google Workspace environments. No transmission method or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site may link to third-party sites (such as Calendly for appointment scheduling). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before submitting personal information.
